I escaped to Sardinia recently to stay on a family farm and be treated to wonderful home cooked food, made from the farm’s produce, untouched beaches and glorious sunshine. The Agriturismo Marongiu is an absolute gem:

When you think of Brixton, a number of images and associations could come to mind. It’s played host to riots, David Bowie was born there and one its streets, Electric Avenue, was the first in London to boast electric lights. For me, it’s the melting pot of cultures that come together in the markets around Electric Avenue.

We hit the French Riviera this summer but wanted to stay somewhere low key. So i did my research and stumbled across Les Restanques, a lovely B&B in Bandol.

One of the best ways to experience the Bourgogne is by cycling through the vines and villages that produce the region’s world famous wines. I cycled through the Cote de Beaune this summer and discovered a glittering hotel de ville and the perfect spot to do a degustation of Burgundy wines.

I love shopping for vintage in Paris: it’s chic, it’s cheap, it’s lots of fun. There’s a handful of stores I visit regularly. One has a spiral staircase, one is so cavernous I can spend hours in there and in the other Bretons have their very own section.
